Terms of service

Tonetuned lets you build an AI assistant that answers your customers' questions using knowledge you provide, in a tone you choose. We provide the software; you decide what the assistant knows and says.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract for your business. Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. One person or business per account.

You keep all rights to the knowledge, documents and settings you upload. You give us the licence needed to store and process them to run the service.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish through the assistant, and for having the right to use it. The assistant is designed to answer only from your approved knowledge, but it is an AI and can still make mistakes. Review its conversations, especially early on.

Every chat shows a permanent label that the visitor is talking to an AI assistant, as required by Article 50 of the EU AI Act. You may not remove or hide it, and you may not configure the assistant to claim to be human.

No unlawful content, no impersonation, no attempts to extract other customers' data, no use to send spam, and no use of the assistant for medical, legal or financial advice where you are not qualified to give it. We may suspend an account that puts the service or other users at risk.

Plans, message quotas and prices are shown on the pricing page. Messages are visitor messages counted per calendar month. On a paid plan, when the quota is used up the assistant tells visitors it is unavailable until the next month, unless you upgrade.

Free plan grace period: When a free account uses its 100 messages, the assistant keeps answering for 3 days. Each message adds EUR 0.02 to a balance (up to EUR 10.00). After that it pauses until you pay the balance (minimum payment EUR 1.00) or upgrade. Paid plans stop at their monthly limit. An unpaid balance keeps the assistant paused, also after the monthly reset, until it is paid or you upgrade; the upgrade checkout includes the balance.

Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Payments are handled by our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record. Prices exclude taxes where these apply.

We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice for paying customers.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can delete your account at any time. We delete your content after termination as described in the privacy policy. We may terminate for material breach after notice, or immediately for serious abuse.

Slovenian law applies, and the courts of Slovenia have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights where you are a consumer. Placeholder: to be confirmed on legal review.
